Fighter who fought exactly the same in a rematch?

Watching Jerry Quarry's two fights with Joe Frazier got me thinking, what other fighters had a rematch and fought exactly the same style without making any changes to their game plan? I was struck that Jerry decided to bang with Joe both times and not use his decent boxing skills. One could argue he was forced by Joe's pressure to fight this way but I didn't see Jerry start any round as if he had a plan other than trade with Frazier and try and out muscle him, which seemed like total suicide and so it proved.

Any other examples of other fighters doing this a second time round?

    Holy vs. Iron Mike

That's why Mike threw in the towel (or, more suitably, spit out the ear).

Ehh, holyfield did spoil maul and burrow in even more than he did the first time. He spent virtually no time at mid and long distance the second time.
When the first round started and he saw that tyson was moving his head and jabbing he went to the inside right away and the rest is history.
Holyfield was winning but winning much uglier than the first time. Tyson looked technically and physically much better than the first time but mentally imploded.

The confidence of knowing that wrestling, mauling and bumping was a successful part of the gameplan the first time probably also reinforced Holyfield in doing it the second time.

Why would the winner change their game plan?

Direct quote from Tyson himself in reference to the second Holyfield fight: "I was tired of the ref letting Evander get away with the butting, but to be honest he was kicking my ass anyway".

Hard to refute words from the man's own mouth. Holyfield lookd in control far earlier than he did in the first fight...I think the fact that Mike seemed a bit more on top of his game the second time is the reason for it. Mike apparently saw the end result coming earlier than it did the first time, so he opted out.

    Danny Lopez against Salvador Sanchez
    Curtis Cokes against Jose Napoles

Both fights were pretty much repeats in their rematches.

Even though I’m in a minority here as I scored the second Holmes/Spinks fight for the champ, I tend to think it was largely a repeat of the first fight with Holmes trying to get aggressive early being the big difference.
