    audley a force harrison.
won olympic, won the prizefighter a number of times.
just lacked that couple of things going into bigger fights.

fair play to him though, made some dollar of getting knocked out quick

From a UK standpoint has to be (fr)Audley Harrison. Olympic champ ,then in the pros couldn't even really hold his own at domestic level.

Liked Mesi. He could have won a title against a Ruiz type and milked it with good matchmaking. Shame he got hurt. What was even more weird was he came back and decided to retire after a handful of fights anyway.

I have got to say Tyson Fury. He became the lineal heavyweight champ and then has not fought since. I didn't have high expectations for this guy but a lot of other people did and he has definitely let them down.

James Toney was also who came to mind when I at first misread the thread title as "fighter with the biggest bust you've seen"

Adrien Broner...I firmly believe Mikey G will retire him. Such a shame - never dealt with pressure fighters and has already to an extent lost his reflexes imo :(

Andrew Golata, guy was rough as sandpaper but had zero mental discipline in the ring. He beat the living hell out of Riddick Bowe then just gave it away

All of the fights post Jirov I believe were in WV or Miss., not exactly boxing
hotbeds. With the Las Vegas decree, his career was effectively derailed.

JuanMa Lopez. I was really looking forward to a showdown of him with Gamboa. We know how well that marinated.

Definitely Audley Harrison, I have never seen someone so petrified of getting hit.

LL gives any version of Tyson that work IMO. If you can imagine a motivated Tyson then I get to put him against a motivated Lewis.

The Lion stops him every time.

A slew of great candidates mentioned here. I immediately thought when reading the title of thread Audley Harrison. I also agree with those that mentioned David Reid and Joe Mesi too bad injuries forced them out.

The late bloomers and/or talented but unmotivated such as Hasim Rahman and Corrie Sanders. Rahman especially as he has some silly losses/draws.

Oh and, interesting to see Duncan Dokiwari's name come up. WTH happen to that dude. He was pretty decent for a youngster in the day. And i recall Emmanuel steward really liking Guinn (domminick) well that prediction didnt pan out haha. That guy kinda fell apart after he lost 1 fight i think is what happened. The 0 was gone his heart was gone.
