The robbery was worth it to have the chance to see RJJ at his peak in the rematch. It wasn't a loss to begin-with in every fans eyes, and the rematch erased that.

I too wish he retired after the Ruiz fight. I scored the firsr Tarver fight for him, but the second broke my heart man...an i didn't pay for another event for 8 months.

 

The loss to McCall wasn't too pretty either.....

i wish DLH never got a loss because he got robbed a couple of times an because he took on all the toughest challenges even tho he knew the odds were stacked against him.... if he wins all his fights he goes down as one of the top 10 fighters ever i think

 

Trinidad, he had so much momentum going in to the Hopkins fight, and also had charisma, good personality combined with an explosive style. Now thats what you call a peoples champ. Lets see how he comes back, again.

Mike Tyson or Larry Holmes..

I honestly think if he would have beaten Mike Spinks he would have retired and would never have fought Tyson or Holyfield etc...

If Mike had avoided Jail and stayed unbeaten prior to then (Douglas) he should have been too sharp for Evander.. and probably retired around 97 - 98.

 

It's funny, I used to hate RJJ and was so glad when he got KTFO but looking back if there was one fighter that deserved to go undeafeted, it was him.

 

I agree, as I stated above, that I would have like to see him retire undefeated but why did you have such a change of heart? Why do you feel he deserved to go undefeated?

 

Lennox Lewis. He should not have let himself lose to McCall or Rahman, and proved it in the rematches. But those losses damage his legacy.
