The only two boxers under 154 I'd back would be Shane Mosley or Antonio Margarito.

Mayweather would counterpunch Cotto and Williams to death, Hatton was already KO'ed and would be again, and though I like Quintana (and he has a good style to take to Mayweather), I'd still take Mayweather in that one.

But Mayweather would be a heavy favorite against any of the aforementioned, and probably beat any of the aforementioned.

Stylistically hes at a big disadvantage anyway you look at it. but Margo for me...just because he is relentless, he will get hit alot but I can guarantee, he will stalk Floyd till the end. Floyd cant stop Margo in his dreams and Margo knows that..He will not stop.

Now if Margo can get to Floyd thoughout the fight even losing rounds and takes him deep, he can stop Floyd. Margo is no joke, he turned Cotto from boxing beautifully and in a matter of 2 rounds, Cotto was a vegetable..that quick!

I think Margarito and especially Paul williams could give him a shitload of trouble although Floyd would have to start as favourite.

I'd give Margo a 30% chance and Williams a bit higher with a 40% chance.

    Just my opinion.

Cotto's Stamina/Boxing ability from the outside are not nearly that of Floyd's. There will be no signs of fatigue in Floyd heading into the Championship portion of the fight against Margarito.

Still, I see the argument that people make about Margarito having a chin to take whatever Floyd throws while at the same time stalking to the very end. Sure, but I don't see how that is going to do much for him. Margarito will have a puncher's chance for 12 rounds against a man who has a great chin himself (Floyd). Aside from that, Floyd simply outboxes him round after round.

Williams has far too many technical shortcomings to defeat Floyd. The way he leans in and pushes his punches to get volume rather than quality. Floyd picks him apart over the course of the fight, with Williams' physical attributes not giving him the advantages you might expect, since his leaning in very much gives up his height, etc..

    Clearly I'm a nuthugger.

I believe Floyd beats Cotto by a wide margin UD. Beats him to the punch all night. 118 -109.

About the same scores for Margarito. PBF runs a lot in the one but get's an easy UD.

Williams has the style to beat Floyd but Floyd is just a little bit too good technically. Floyd UD.

cant believe no one has mentioned Forrest him and Williams have the best chance. Margo also has a good chance. maybe cotto. who cares though PBF is retired and a **** muscle. could have been so much more than he ended up being.

ehh..Margo broke Cotto down more than Cotto gassing...Margo will throw 2000 punches in this fight should it go the distance, some of those will hit Floyd..I just see it this way...slowly but surely hes going to get to him, whether Floyd breaks down is a diff story...he may not win a round in the process, but tide turns quickly when your fighting Marg because his output level does not change...Floyd should be favored but he isnt some unbeatable God that most make him up to be.
Hes not prime RJJ who was never vulnerable.
