    No, not really.

But Margarito is generally an aggressor, which would help. He's also very strong and understands the importance of bodypunching.

I think the major differences between Margo and Cotto are that Margo has a better chin, is stronger, more aggressive, and throws to the body more consistantly.

I'd still pick Mayweather, but if I had to pick out of Margo and Cotto who has a better chance, I'd side with Margo.

You know Cory is the kind of jab and ran guy that would also give Floyd some problems, and a fight that was almost made at one point. I thought that Cory would be a live dog in that fight, and I wouldnt have been shocked to see that be a SD, with Cory doing much better then most thought he would.

I think that people here has let that Castillo fight confuse them, floyd doesnt have trouble with fighters that come after him, the only thing that made that fight interesting was floyds broken hand...The rematch was a borefest that Floyd won easy even thou the judges did thier best to give the fight to Castillo. Most thought that Floyd would 9 or 10 rounds in the second fight.

Floyd would blowout Margarito and most people who truly know boxing, knows that there's no way that PBF loses to Margarito.

Margarito is too slow and he throws his punches wide, he comes forward and doesn't know how to fight going backwards. He doesn't have any good side to side movement and he's coming straight forward ... PBF will pick him apart.

And people under estimate his power or something ... I think PBF could probably knockout Margarito.
He's shown power as of late ... he hurt Oscar De La Hoya convincingly, he stopped Hatton and was very close to stopping Zab Judah (if it weren't for the low blow)
He's also more aggressive and more accurrate the bigger the stage and the better the opponent.

Margarito has never fought someone like PBF ... Floyd has fought slow come forward fighters w/ limited boxing skills.

Cotto doesn't stand a chance either ... his chin has proven to be suspect, the jury is out of him concerning his stamina, and fighting skills going backward. PBF would knock him out most definitely.

While its true that every fighter that fights Floyd find that he hits harder then they thought he would, I dont think that he would stop Margo.

Let me say that I don't think PBF would knock him out but he'll definitely stop him.

Either on cuts or accumulation of overall punishment.

lol @ those who said williams

do you all seriously think Floyd would allow himself to get hit flushed like Quintana in the 2nd fight or counter williams for 12 rounds like quintana did in the first fight

Floyd would stop Williams, his body attack doesn't get noticed for some reason but with Williams being so tall and so long with his puches, no snap to them, Floyd would get inside and attack Williams to the body ... as good as Williams is, I can see him getting stopped.

The reason why Floyd didn't knockout Baldomir is because of the fact that Floyd hurt his right hand ... and Baldomir has a good chin ... Floyd still managed to win every round and out land Baldomir in a blowout victory.

I don't see any welterweight out right now that would knockout Baldomir.

I would back anybody south of 154 to beat Floyd, just cause I'd like to see him lose and learn a little humility. In order to beat Floyd you'd have to rough him up and be able to walk through his shots. I think guys tailor-made to stop him would be Margarito or Clottey. I think Cotto v PBF is a trilogy in the making. SSM and Winky could've probably beat him a few years ago but not anymore. I don't think Wink could even make 154 anymore. That's about it, although I would like to see him fight Pacquiao.
