Name and maybe discuss some fighters that were maybe very talented and had great careers either ahead of them of had had great careers, and threw it all away because of bad living. Or maybe they gradually eroded because of it. You know, just some greats that if they lived a bit differently they would have been more if not for bad habits outside the ring. Jack Johnson could qualify. Bobby Chacon for sure. Others?
I'll jot down Carlos Monzon as one who lived excessively but still got plenty out of his ability. Ruben Olivares too.
Camacho Senior. I was not a fan of his at all. He did Accomplish quite a bit, but he was so talented and fast I always think he could have been a top 10-20 ATG. Also, the man was never KO'd and he fought many big time fighters.
