I never thought much of Hagler for some reason, always liked him the least of the fab4. Great all round boxer, very fluid in his movements. I always thought Leonard beat him but he was kind of hard done by, the way Leonard waited until he started to slide.

For me, Larry Holmes, I didn't care for him, I rooted against him but respected his ability because he was the best at the time. Now I appreciate him.

Amir Khan charged my opinion because he has showed his bravery and his skill. He will fight anyone and he he is usually winning well at the time he is stopped.

I appreciate Calzaghe more than I used to back when he was fighting.

Used to not appreciate Duran and Arguello but now they are some of my favorite fighters. Never really disliked a fighter, I might have one's I favor but I have the "may the best man win" mindset. When you train around professional boxers/mma fighters it's really hard to hate other fighters because you see how genuine they are. Always helping the younger folk out whenever they can. At most gyms you walk in and they make you spar, probably not learning **** after training there for a few months.

IMO if Curry wasn't about Starling would have ruled the 147 pounders for quite a long time. I believe he was always the superior would have beaten McCrory.

Pernell Whitaker. I didn't initially like him, but came to be blown way at just how great he was, especially after the way he handled Chavez in a fight I believe Pea was robbed in.

Lol, I'm just the opposite. I initially liked him but grew to dislike him in later years. No denying what a terrific fighter he was, though.

Now that his career is over, and a bit more respectful to others, Hopkins.

Riddick Bowe, Michael Moorer, Michael Nunn. Always rooted against them but looking back now makes me wish that they were fighting now and in their fighting primes.

Floyd Mayweather. I still don't care for him as a person but you have to respect his skills inside the ring. Learned to look past all the hatred that the bandwagon boxing fans tend to say about him.

Julio Cesar Chavez for me. I even debated on Meldrick Taylor`s side after that controversial stoppage. I see it differently now. Chavez was such a force. His ability to cut the ring and grind down very good and sometimes great fighters. Even a solid Beltholder/Champion like Greg Haugen looked like nothing when he faced JCC.
