Fighters considered glass-jawed by casuals

    Who actually have good chins or better?

    Danny Jacobs is a fighter I see get labeled that quite often by a lot of people, but besides getting KO'd at 22 years old against one he'll of a fighter, and dropped once by the massive banging GGG, when has he showed vulnerability? And even after getting dropped by GGG, he got right back up and on some people's cards pulled off a close win.

    Who are some others?

    Agreed. Had a solid chin imho. McCall ko could he of continued? Rahman was a punch from the gods.

    This is the answer.

    He was down twice in his career against some of the biggest, baddest guys in the division's history. He was not glass-jawed. But the casuals think so.

    Jacobs doesn't have a great chin, good fighter with skills to burn but no, he doesn't have great punch resistance.

    But hes not glass jawed either. If he was Canelo, Quillen, GGG, Derevy would have stopped him. He has fought almost all the best MW's of the last 12 years. Imo that is good. Guys get dropped and if they fight good enough comp they get stopped, the champions come back stronger.

    Is casual a code-word for chincheckers now? Anyway, I've seen those crackheads call Ward and Huck glass-jawed, both of whom well above average in terms of durability.

    Casuals think Khan has a glass jaw. Knowledgeable boxing fans of course know he has dried paper mache f***ing disgrace of a jaw which makes your typical glass jawed fighter look like Carl Froch.
