History proves this myth wrong. Weak countries are there be conquered and their people enslaved as they are powerless to do anything about it. You guys read too much into the accomplishments of thirld world midgets in the ring. That's not toughness. Manny would cry if he had to fight someone like Kovalev, GGG.

your research should have shown all the deaths that happen to all these "tougher" fighters. Their nutrition is sub par and so is their training. As far as their mental state, research has shown that fighters from 3 world countries have a less developed brain then their western counter parts due to their lack of proper diet (i'm not talking about intelligence here). Many fighters from third world countries are malnourished. The many deaths that happen in the ring involving third world fighters is a direct result of this. When the brain suffers direct trauma as in the case of boxer receiving many head blows, then the brain releases P-glycoprotein, the more trauma it suffers the more it releases this. A knockout is the result of the brain being overloaded by P-glycoprotein and thus it shuts down, think of a knockout as being a sort of defense mechanism. Now, in a malnourished body the brain does not have the capability to produce as much P-glycoprotein as there is too much for the brain to do with so little energy. So while it does release P-glycoprotein it does not release enough for the brain to shut its self down. This results in the boxer receiving more punishment than he is supposed to take giving the impression of him being "tough". So in a sense the fighters are "tougher" yet it is only because of the brain not having enough energy.

How so? They are already in America. Where could you go that is richer lol. Monte Carlo?? :rofl

If AAs could leave America and thrive else where, why don't they? Is it out of sheer patriotism? :rofl

The truth is the problems of the African American community (imo) are partially due to discrimination and partially due to bad culture. The latter being the bigger and more obvious problem.

Way to discredit something without doing any research as to counter any of my points. This is easily verifiable, it might have been easier for you type in a few keyword in google and see all the studies that have been done in lab rats, monkeys etc and the role that P-glycoprotein plays in the brain then the time it took for you to think up and post your inane reply.

You must be kidding. There are plenty of fighters from 3rd world countries that have glass chins. I'm not saying that it doesn't play a role maybe but a minimal one at best. There are iron chinned guys that are from 1st world countries. As a matter of fact, I'm betting that a malnutrition guy would be easier to KO from just being weaker. I mean how many significantly malnutritioned guys are competing in combat sports.

If you think about it, even with the most developed countries, they all made up of immigrants, so mostly they bring traditions and customs along with them. I think it has more to do with upbringing and pain threshold, cuz you can be from a country not really known for many great fighters, but the few it has produced have been exceptional, such as Calzaghe from Wales or Pacman from the Philippines. Those 2 might not be the fastest or strongest, but world respects them for their toughness, yet 2 very different backgrounds . Like the saying goes "What is normal to the spider is chaos to the fly." You can be from the trailer park, Beverly Hills, etc doesn't matter. Your brain trains your body to deal with different types of pain. And once you learn to control it, to others it may seem superhuman, but its just that they haven't developed that yet.

Yes, they're tougher because they have to be. Less opportunities, probably worse welfare options, all of that. When you have to be good, you usually are more motivated then a person who does not have to be good.

being tough is genetic and comes from the father or mother. pacquiao's parents are tough as nails. calzaghe's dad is tough as nails.

broner's dad is a fat cupcake.
