Now that is a valid example of Hopkins ruining a guy smack in his prime. :deal

I disagree on Danny Garcia. Matthysee didn't do anything to him. Lets not forget that Garcia was already kinda exposed in his first fight against an old Morales...and against Judah. Heck I would even go as far as to say that Garcia took a bigger beating against Judah. If it wasn't for the knockdown in like round 8 or 9, a round in which Judah was also clearly winning, you could make the case Judah could have won that fight.

I don't believe in luck in boxing, however I do think Garcia needs to be thankful his style matches great against Matthysee. Garcia has decent power with good body work as well, but he is too wide with his punches. A slick boxer like Peterson or Herrera will avoid his punches easily. But Matthysee is not slick or defensive, and so was easy enough to hit, while Danny was also the slightly better boxer...which allowed him to be able to win the rounds tell the end.

He wasn't close to pfp though. Maybe top 30 or 40.

I agree. Pavlik gave a respectable performance and a rematch would've been interesting.

Deuk-Koo Kim :-( Seriously, getting beat to death at 23 I'd say is "getting the prime beat out of you."

Nigel Benn vs Gerald McClellan. 27 years old, permanently injured. Doesn't remember who he is, or what he's done.

This list can be very long.

Sorry for getting real up in here.
