    I hate it when it happens unless it's a well-deserved immediate rematch. Berto got an IBF title shot after losing his WBC belt to Ortiz. There should be a title eliminator for a fighter coming off a title bout loss.

    glen johnson. lost to froch then fights bute. morales lost to maidana but fought for a title in the next fight.

    Roy Jones lost to Tarver, got a shot at Johnson.

    cotto got a shot at foreman after losing to pacquiao
    margarito got a shot for 154 title against pac after losing to mosley and then after losing to pac got a shot at cotto's title.

    Clottey got a shot at Pac after losing to Cotto (by 1 point on my card)

    Why cant a top contender fight for a belt ?
    Its wrong to fight for a vacant belt after a loss.
    Berto lost to Ortiz in a thriller and then fought a belt holder. Berto beat him in six.

    worst one is Margarito getting a shot and a big payday after being caught for cheating and after losing to mosley. it wasnt even legit. pac didnt make the minimum weight and margarito came back from a long lay off. and to top it all off the belt was vacant. thats what i call a Top Rank circus match.
