Cotto won a 4th world title in a 3rd division in dominant fashion the fight right after getting whooped by Pacquiao. To top it off, he defended his world title against a stripped champion (should have been a unification) in the fight right before Pacquiao.

Hatton was undefeated at the weight Pacquiao destroyed him at, and only lost when he moved up to a division where the most success he's had is a controversial decision against a B-level fighter. Also, Hatton was coming off one of his career-best performances when Pac flattened him.

Oscar was coming off a shutout win at 150lbs and an SD loss to the former p4p#1.

Oh ****... What am I saying???

PAC AINT ****! DAT 1-D FISH-HEAD DON'T KNOW **** ABOUT BOXING! SKILLS PAY DA BILLS DAWG.

The British press gave Lewis a lot of credit for beating Tyson, which was unfair on both of them.

Tyson was shot to ****, and Lewis defeated a lot of quality fighters in his prime between 1995-98.

True...If he's going to include Marquez over Diaz, DLH over Vargas, Holyfield over Tyson, surely you have to include:

Pac over Hatton - Hatton was more damaged than Vargas
Pac over DLH - DLH was more damaged than Morales
Pac over Cotto - Equivelant to Vargas
Pac over Barrera- Equivelant to Casamayor

Tyson certainly wasn't at his peak, however, what more can ask of Lewis?

He knocked him out so he deserves credit.

If he had been taken the distance then he would have deserved a backlashing.

    Lewis knew that anyway.

Lewis was my favorite HW at that time, but you can't possibly give him much credit over that win.

He fought him, and won..that's good. IMO Tua was a bigger threat than Tyson and I give him more crdit for Tua, whose never been a champion.

You confuse me with a Pac fan. My distaste for Mayweather has nothing to do with Manny Pacquiao.

I'm just going by fact. All people can say about Mayweather when it comes to the true welterweight contenders since he got there is what he "would've" done, if he'd fought them. Fact is, he didn't fight any of them.

    Cotto
    Clottey
    Margarito
Mosley (when he was a fellow champ 3 years ago
    Berto
    Cintron
    Williams
    and yes, now, Manny Pacquiao

A whole bunch of those fighters have all fought each other. And the three guys that were champions along with Floyd in 2007 (Mosley-Margarito-Cotto) All fought each other. But Floyd the flighter hasn't stepped foot near a single one of them. He's a **** champion with no heart or courage. And that would be true if Manny Pacquiao was never born.

the Tyson fight I suspect brought him more money and he had already beaten Tua 2 years previous by UD.

At first sight this sounded like a Pacquiao hate thread. I'm just saying. Roach does know how to pickem! Fight the guys that still have a name but are on the decline or on their way out seems to be the blueprint for Roach. I think Pacquiao's legacy would be even better without those tactics.

Holyfield was underdog and considered shot.

    pac was avenging defeat.

    odlh and vargas was unification.

    marquez was underdog for both.

duran fought over a decade after that fight
