Pointless thread, because this is too subjective. One man's damaged goods is another man's great achievement, and vice-versa. For example, you list Pac over Morales and Oscar over Vargas alongside Toney over Holyfield as though they were similar, but in reality Holyfield was shot to ****, whereas Morales and Vargas were nowhere near that state.

I disagree, Tyson is still the only fighter to KO Holmes, and Holmes looked great in his last fight against Spinks and was pretty much robbed. You also have to bear in mind Holmes went on to beat a young undefeated Ray Mercer a few years later. That is one of the few fights I give Tyson alot of credit for.

I dont think DLH-Vargas fits into this. Vargas had been beaten once only and he was even taking steroids during this fight. He looked great DLH was just better.

Man DLH was one hell of a fighter now that i think about it.
    The man will be missed.

He doesn't get credit by the majority of fans yet is rated highly and appreciated by experts. Still confused?

Mayweather is the similar case, in 2006 and 2007 to be specific. He barely got any appreciation by fans, only hate and insults yet remained P4P#1 and won fighter of the year in 2007. If you check out comments by the majority of fans you would think Margarito was winning fighter of the year 2007 for losing to Paul Williams and beating Golden Johnson. Those are only two examples, there's way more and I hope you got the point.

So easy to claim damaged goods after the fact.
