This is a fairly rare move, especially to be used often and well, who are some fighters who were proficient with it? It is beautiful when executed well.

Beat me to Arguello. This is kind of a lost art and Arguello was the best at it. I've seen Ezzard Charles do it on film. Virgil Hill did this. Hill didn't have much of a right hand.

Michael Spinks used it very effectively unifying the light heavyweight title against Dwight Braxton (Qawi).

John Conteh comes to mind, especially when he lost the right hand due to injuries. One of the best left hands the Light Heavyweight division's ever seen.

    Ezzard Charles.

Arguello, though he did it too much early on in his career. Looks like the Arguello/Escalera KO has been removed from YouTube. I might upload that later.

Wlad is capable of hooking very well off the jab.

Sometimes he does often throughout the course of a fight, other times he doesn't do it at all--but when he does it, I've seen him be very effective with that. His motion is quick and deceptive.

A guy named Sugar Ray Robinson. You may have heard of him.

I agree that Wlad can be very good at this, and to go to the ultra extreme, I understand that Bob Fitzsimmons was absolutely lethal with this combination, although it was often a jab to the solar plexus from what i can gather.
