Perhaps his second best performance ever. He was brilliant that night, a joy to watch.

Nah, I wanted to keep it 5 like the others. Canzoneri is the exception because I´m really, really high on him these days. He´s magic.

Those were obstacles he had to try to overcome. No fault of Morales and was no way a guarantee that Pac would have won without those obstacles. My point was that they were there and Pac fought gallantly. IMO, his best effort. The better man won. That's the only excuse. Sorry if it makes you feel that it takes away from Erik's victory. Now you have an idea what Pac fans feel like when reading all the excuses for Pac's wins.

I wouldn't pay the average Mayweather fan any mind, personally.

That was a terrible performance by Manny compared to several of his fights since. He was still learning at the time. It was a great learning experience, I'll give you that, but not a great performance. He got schooled in that fight. It is also the only time I have ever seen his corner panic, and panic they did.

I thought Julio was frightening against Terrance Ali, gave the dude a frighteningly brutal beating. Horrible beating.

Speaking of Erik Morales....Zaheer Rahim's domination of him was his masterpiece.

:patsch Forgot about this one, you can easily put this at his top 5 performances. I like in the fifth round how he starts out calm throughout and by the final seconds he turns very aggressive all of the sudden, giving Ali a bad beating.

Then I'd be misquoting you. However, you can feel free to go back on your statement, which it appears you have. That would be a bigger move than half the stubborn jackasses on this site are capable of making. There was definitely no lack of effort by Manny.

Ali took horrendous shots in that fight and before that round in the clip. One point he takes three success left hooks to the head, it was to his credit that he lasted as long as he did...his corner should have threw in the towel way before.
