    That's interesting but I also wonder whether any of them ever had swigs of cocaine elixirs for late fight energy.

    Sadly, 70's through the 90's it was a hugh problem, not just in boxing, but in all the major sports.

    The last 1 i have no proof and would not cast aspercion...lloyd honeyghans partying ruined his career circa 87-89...but theres nothing to suggest cocaine was involved..just his decline was sudden

    Here in Australia Shannon Taylor had massive issues with the stuff. He actually OD’d and nearly died from mistakenly snorting heroin thinking it was blow. He was in a very bad way and it took him a long time to recover.

    Coming from where I come from, and seeing what I've seen it was a problem. I've seen multiple cities like Liberty City, Opa Locka, Cherry Hill, that were war zones because of Cocaine . I know hundreds of friends, school mates, neighbors that became zombies because of crack cocaine.
    So you may have survived your Cocaine issues. But literally millions did not. Hope your hrs or days of partying is worth that.
