I dont hate Lewis personally and I actually took time to research this stuff so Not a troll-just an opinion. I don't have a problem with Lewis not fighting Ruiz or Byrd. Byrd was a decent fighter but not amazing. Ruiz was average at best and lost his title to a guy debuting at HW (RJJ) and a guy with only a few HW fights (Toney) I think Lennox beats Ruiz anyway. And yes I think Lennox and his team waited in certain situations for the other fighters to get old and washed up. It can't be a coincidence that he waited 3 years to rematch Mccall who beat him and when the rematch came,Mccall was under house arrest,not training and in rehab for drug and alcohol addiction.
Why did Lewis not rematch Mercer? Lewis was troubled by Mercer and Mercer wanted a rematch with all proceeds going to charity and Lewis refused.
Why did Lewis fight an ageing Tony Tucker who had previously been out of boxing for a few years because of a positive drug test. Why fight all these guys with all these problems? Can it all be a coincidence?
What about the cocaine addicted,HIV positive Tommy Morrison?
What about the old Holyfield who had struggled with John Ruiz and Vauhgn Bean? Why fight him? Why struggle with him? Those 2 Holyfield fights are pretty much proof for me. If the Holyfield from the Bowe fights fought Lewis,he would stop Lewis inside of 7 rounds.

 

What? Lewis have wanted to fight both Holyfield and Tyson. Back in 96 don king refuse to put tyson in the ring with lewis in which thats the truth. To make things clear,I dont hate Lewis. I think he was a talented man but to say he was an ATG up there with Ali,Holmes,Foreman and Dempsey is a joke.

It dosent matter if Lewis wanted to fight them earlier. The truth is he fought them when they were old and past their prime and the fans act as it it was some great accomplishment. It wasnt. Lewis beat Tyson and Holyfield yes but it was no big deal because they were old and past prime.

 

Holyfield in his prime barely beat a 41 year old out of shape foreman lol. The same foreman got outbox by morrison and the same old fart foreman admit it he didnt want to fight lewis cause he knew he will get his butt whooped. Style wise lewis would always beat holyfield prime or not.

Holyfield didnt come close of putting lewis out. Only a damn ****** will think that. Lewis was smilely when holyfield land a big shot and actually told holy to come come.

Who did Vitali beat? What did he do that was great? Vitali was a proven steroid cheater. A proven quitter and he lost his biggest fight against Old,fat Lewis.

Holyfield also fought the better competition - Bowe, Tyson when it still mattered - and was never laid out early by second rate fighters. Clearly he should be ranked higher.
