Lewis didn't beat Holyfield in one of his 3 primes apparently.
Despite Holy being the IBF, WBA and favourite for the fight, he was apparently rubbish at the time.

Despite being not far removed from beating Tyson. A Tyson Holy fans try and rate as prime despite fighting something like 5 rounds in the previous 4 years or something.

Yeah and u say a prime holyfield could beat lewis? The same prime holyfield who barely beat a 41 year old out of shape foreman? The same foreman who admit he was scared to fight lewis?

Holy beating Tyson = great in prime win.
Holy losing to Lewis a year later = doesn't count.

Lewis didn't out pointed by light heavies that lost to 46 yr olds either.
Or stopped by body shots of former middleweights. Regardless of age.

Nor be heavily implicated in PED investigations.

Lennox was old and shot when he beat old and shot tyson. Lennox was KOd just the year before so he was MORE SHOT. Tyson hadnt been stopped in 5 years and was the fresher of the 2.

No not really. Tyson was on Zoloft,on cocaine and not training hard. He was also in and out of prison and all kinds of legal trouble.

Even Emmanuel Steward said "Tyson was 10 years past his prime."

How can a guy who was 10 years past his prime be fresher than a guy who only had 2 losses? Nice try.

Foreman was a future world champion who still had one punch KO power and an iron chin when he fought Holyfield silly.

And no Foreman said he "didnt want to fight Lewis" he never said he was scared so don't lie.

Foreman also said he only ever feared one man,Joe Frazier. Foreman also said he didnt want to fight Norton and Frazier but he KO'd both of them in 2 rounds.
Just because a guy would rather not fight, doesn't mean he is scared.

Holyfield fought Tyson in 1996 jackass. Lewis fought Holyfield in 1999! A year later? Try 3 years later.

And Holyfield was already out of his prime in 1996.

And actually Lewis was suspected of using steroids too so dont even start.

Why didnt Foreman fight Lewis? Maybe because George was already rich and also almost 50 years old! You ****ing idiot. George came back to win the title and he did it! Why would he fight Lewis? He had enough money and the title.

And saying you would rather not fight a guy doesn't mean you are scared, it means you know it would be tough.

    I like that Lewis poster.
We can use it when Vitali fans say that Lewis was behind on points. Still,it doesnt change the fatc that Lewis beat up moslty old or drug addicted washed up fighters.

Lewis did beat Holyman, Tyson and Bowe was so intimidated by him he refused to get in the ring with him. Bowe "left more of a mark" than Lewis? You can't be serious. Lewis, however, was not invincible and focusing on his fights instead of the numbers of wins to losses takes some of the lustre off his shine. Some describe Lewis' win over Ray Mercer a gift decision and his second win versus Oliver McCall suspicously looked like Lewis was fighting a man who was having a complete nervous breakdown in the middle of a boxing ring during a championship fight. But I dislike focusing on a few fights to judge a fighter, which is something to many boxing fans and professional boxing writers (who should know better do). Even if McCall hadn't have been verclimpt in his szhpilkus during the rematch Lewis may have beaten him. Over all, name any heavyweight during any period and I think Lennox Lewis could have beaten him, not necessarily a sure thing but I think the trend would be for him to beat most of them.

Lets go through history shall we...

Ali: 40 yr old Liston, Foreman poisoned in Zaire, Blind Frazier, Past Prime Patterson

Marciano: 40 yr old LHW, glass chin LHW, OLD/SHot Joe Louis, bunch more LHWs

    Wladimir
: 41 yr old Mercer, 40 yr old Mormeck, 40 yr old Thompson, Detached retina Brewster, 200 lb featherfisted Chambers

Foreman: Legally blind Frazier, Chinny Norton, 40 yr old Cooney, mentally unstable featherfisted Moorer.

    Holyfield:
40 year old Holmes, 40 year old Foreman, Flabby ass Bowe winded from Fan Man

Tyson: Panic attack Spinks, 2 yr inactive Lardy Holmes, Don King tomato cans,

Show me the heavyweigght who beat only Great Prime fighters? You are slighting Lennox for something that hasnt been achieved by any boxer ever.

First of all you are just lying. The problem with Lewis is that people brag that he was so great when in fact most of his legacy fights were against old fighters or drug addicted fighters.

Ali beat Foreman. George wasn't poisoned. Liston was not 40 years old and in fact no one knows his true age. Liston was thought to be 38 when he died in the 1970's so how could he beat 40 when he fought Ali?
Patterson was a former 2 time HW champ at least. Yes he was chinny but he always got up. Patterson was only 2 years out of the title and he was on a 6 fight win streak with wins over the tough George Chuvalo.

Marciano fought weak opposition yes but he also KO'd guys as big as the Klitschko brothers while he was only 5'10 and 185 pounds. Marciano also had the defense streak and retired undefeated with more fights than Lewis short cherry picked career.

    Wlad Klitschko. I dont give a **** because I'm not a fan.

Foreman beat HW champion, prime Joe Frazier. Frazier was always legally blind, had had one good eye and a less than perfect eye. Having one eye never affected him. Frazier was undefeated and had beaten Ali when Foreman ran over him in 2 rounds. Norton was never chinny. Norton was only KO'd by big punchers. Chinny would mean he got KO'd all the time by guys who coudnt hit hard. Foreman,Shavers and Cooney all hit very hard.

Holyfield beat old Foreman yes. But that Old Foreman still had one punch KO power and was a future world champion with an iron chin. That was a good win. Foreman was also on a 20 fight win streak with 19 or 20 wins by KO.
Holyfield one punch KO'd Tyson conqueror Douglas. OK not a great win.
Holyfield beat Bowe in the pros where it counted. Holyfield beat Ruiz,Rahman (the guy who 1 punch KO'd Lewis)
Holyfield also beat 2 time HW champ Michael Moorer as well as the guy Lewis had trouble with,Ray Mercer.

Tyson cleaned out all of the top fighters when they were in their prime. Tyson didnt wait until they were old and shot like Lennox did.

I never said the great fighters fight only world class opposition but they tend to have quite a few great wins and other great qualities.
Lewis had power and good technical skills yes but he had a weak chin and he was a cherry picker who avoided many guys when they could have and would have ****ed him up.
