By knowledge you must mean forgetting that RJJ was knocked out twice shortly before facing Joe, but yeah "Roy hadn't lost in years".

Not really . . . first you say he's taken too few fights and dodged big matches, then you say he's fought too much and knocked too many good fighters out of the sport . . . .

    Lacy was overrated anyway

I didn't think this thread was going to one of CHJ's better ones until I saw how violently it pushed Dinamita's spazout button.

Then it got much funnier :yep

boring hater lol. calzaghe a bit silly to say it but its kinda true. I dont think it will ever 'die' but the status it had back in the day(for certain reasons) to what it is now.......well its not quite the same. But i guess theyll always be fans like us to help it. Boring haters dont help matters

Why the hell do people still get so worked up?

It's just a joke, like most of his posts. If you don't like them or don't find them funny ignore it.

You must have a more sophisticated sense of humour than me to always find the same pattern hilarious:

    - Idiot makes shite thread in a desperate attempt to be funny

    - Idiot is abused for boring everyone with shite thread

    My sides are sore.

CHJ has always been tounge in cheek, wummery with a small kernel of logic in it. Even in this thread, the US scene needs an influx of new blood to take over from Hopkins/Jones/Tarver/Wright/Mosley, and when the up and comers keep losing to the older guys, such as Lacy/Calzaghe, Pavlik/Hopkins then it does slightly damage the sport. To this end if Dawson can not get Calzaghe i hope he stays away from Hopkins, the new Us star getting beat by the old man does not attract fans.

PacFan/Dinamita has no sense of humour though, if it does not fit his agenda then it is worthless, takes himself far too seriously, and that coming from a member who posts very seldom. Everytime I read a thread that he contributes to he seems to be rubbishing someones views in a very aggressive way.

Joe is right, it some sence, but it is kind of funny that boxing is big in europe, vs but yes in the US it is a dying sport, I mean it not somthing you can read about in the sports page, exept after a HBO/showtime match, it dosn't sell out except DLH (but vitali sold out his last two fights in the US),,,,But there four major sports in the US that are pro, this not include your college sports,,,,I think guys like calzahe would needed to be promteted on espn in the early part of his career to make some sort of head way here in the US,,,,,Pac-man should be big for a while, but on the average i would say it is dead,,When the WNBA sell more seats then you, you know your in trouble
