sanctioning bodies let Floyd defend his 154 title in a 147 fight ffs i hope you don't think there word is gospel

unless you fight opponents at the full weight limit you shouldn't be regarded as the number 1 in the division, i'l call Floyd the super super welterweight champion if that pleases you

Kiko vs Juan Carlos Payano for the WBA BW belt is in talks.

Campillo vs Beterbiev, April 4th, Quebec. I thought it was going to be Stevenson vs Campillo, but it looks like is going to be against Beterbiev.

They probably only agreed to let Floyd do that because they get like 1% of the purse for sanctioning the fight. They picked up as much coin in that fight as they would have from sanctioning thirty other championship bouts. They can be bought, but they ain't cheap. Floyd, Manny, Cotto, Klitschko, and Alvarez are probably the only guys who earn enough to make the sanctioning bodies dance to their tune. Everybody else has to toe the line.

The reason there are so many champions in the first place is so the sanctioning bodies can get their fee. That's why the WBA has like three belts per division. Regular champion, super duper champion, and like a silver belt or something. It's ridiculous and greedy, and just debases the value of the belts.

Garcia fight in Brooklyn does it for me.Haymon is making a mockery of boxing and although I am only a 15 minute subway from Barclays I refuse to go to this event. This fight should be a unification, plain and simple and yet the non title status just reeks of greed and taking the fans for granted.
Quillin is not a draw and they will have to paper the house for background noise. An absolute joke and f uck Haymon.

True,Andy has fans in NYC area but it is a sad commentary that a Dude from Ireland is the ony draw when Philly is only an hour away and Quillin draws his immediate family and that's it.Still it won't draw well despite low pricing for this event.
There is usually 8-10 of us that regularly go to the fights at MSG or Barclays and we are all big fight fans and none of us are attending this show.Lets hope Andy can get a fair outcome for his fight, but I won't be there.
