Can someone lay out the difference in duties between managers and promoters? I've never been quite clear on this.

Yea, a promoter being involved with promoting the fight is pretty self-explanatory. I'm just not quite clear on certain duties as it seems like there might be some overlap. For instance, we hear about Haymon getting his fighters on the major networks but isn't this generally the responsibility of the promoter?
