Fighters Mayweather ducked

    One of the biggest criticisms of Floyd Mayweather is that he ducks fighters left and right. I must say though, some of these claims come out of left field. It's come to the point where pretty much any fighter with any sort of a name that Mayweather didn't fight, he ducked. Look at this from Rafael's chat;

    Mike (Los Angeles)

    Above 135, Mayweather showed countless new ways to avoid stiff competition . . . Kostya, Hatton at 140, P Wil, Margarito, prime Shane, prime Cotto, Clottey, Cintron, Pacquiao, Sergio, GGG, Bradley

    Anyway, Margarito is a fighter that I think Mayweather clearly ducked. That would've been a very tough fight for Mayweather and he had much easier and lucrative options out there. Margarito was basically stalking Mayweather and offering him a bunch of money to no avail. What about you? Who are some fighters that you say Mayweather ducked and your reasoning behind why you say Mayweather ducked them.

    Was he going to slip Mayweather a mickey to put them on the same level of speed?

    Lol it's the way it works with morons. People were even saying he ducked Trinidad at 154 when I think Floyd was only just fighting at 140.

    Shane wanted no part of him and had toothache, cotto recently admitted it wasn't a fight that interested him, HAtton at 140? Lol that must be a new one!!Bradley is top rank, Golovkin is a bloody middleweight and I don't think he ever had negotiations to fight pacquiao, must have missed that one.

    He hasn't ducked anyone. If Margs wasn't a Top Rank fighter, he might've had a shot against Floyd.

    When FLoyd was at 130, he called out anyone and everyone from 130-140. None of the big time champs seemed to have any interest in fighting him, including Casamayor at 135 and Mosley at whatever weight division.

    The world knows he ducked Margarito and Pacquaio, but I don't know about the other guys.

    People who think Margo gives PBF trouble don't reallyknow anything about the sport. PBF is a stylistic nightmare for Margo, no guy with slow hands no jab and wide open will beat a master boxer like PBF. PBF would hit him and be gone before Margo could do anything about it. PBF could counter him at will. Not only that Margo is a slow starter and PBF would be up 6 rounds to 0 before Margo even woke up. This fight woudl be a counter-punching clinic and would be funny to watch. PBF would shut Margo out.:deal

    margarito's name only came into the mix after the cintron win (which isn't near enough to warrant a shot at Floyd). after that, margarito 'beat' cotto, got done for cheating, then lost 3 of his next 4 fights...
