Langford and Walcott don't belong, Dempsey doesn't belong or is way too high, Marciano is way too high

So here are some stats on Langford compared to these other heavies

Langford absolutely deserves to be there a guy who started out at lightweight and was blinded in one eye

had the following record against hall of fame heavies 19 wins 16 losses and 13 draws

he knocked out 4 hall of fame heavies too ( Jeannette, wills, Godfrey and Mcvea

he fought 5 hall of fame heavies total and didnt beat jack johnson

joe frazier on the other hand beat 1 hall of fame heavy (ali) and was 1 and 4 against the whopping 2 hall of fame heavies he fought (never koing one)

    larry holmes

ko'd 300 year old ali beat norton and lost to holyfield and tyson his record against hall of fame heavies is 2 wins (1 ko) 2 losses

rocky marciano beat 4 heavies( 2 were natural light heavies and all past their prime ) with 4 kos

6 and 0 4 kos ( same amount of hall of fame heavies knocked out but way less fights and 2 guys were smaller boxers naturally)

    etc

Langford has better numbers against heavies than every heavy on the list except for Ali, Joe louis and jack Johnson if anything hes top 5 all time at heavy

sonny liston beat patterson twice and lost to ali twice for a total of 2 wins 2 losses 1 hall of famer beaten and ko'd

This is 20th century heavies, right? Abilities, accomplishments and legacy.

    Muhammad Ali
    Joe Louis
    Larry Holmes
    Lennox Lewis
    George Foreman
    Joe Frazier
    Vander Holyfield
    Jack Dempsey
    Jack Johnson
Rocky Marciano/Jim Jeffries... I could go either way.

Yeah I don’t agree with that list but hey... it’s a list based on people’s opinions.

I have Sam as the number 1 or 2 LB 4 LB fighter ever, so I don't mean to attack him per se, but are we going to count the roughly 25 losses he had at heavyweight? Or only the times he managed to win at the weight. He went roughly 90-25 against heavies.

And preach all you want about Hall of Famers. Yes, most of those guys deserve inclusion, but because of their contribution to the nascent sport, not the skill level they display, at least on the film we have. This is the same faulty argument you had at middleweight and again you are wrong, a nostalgic fetishist first and commentator on boxing somewhere in the far distance behind that.

He beat an undefeated John Tate who was touted as possibly better than Holmes at the time, beat an undefeated Tillis, and beat quite soundly a Coetzee who not only lost to Tate before that, but went on to beat the at-the-time-undefeated Michael Dokes for a championship belt.

Not to mention, he gave prime Larry Holmes one of the toughest fights of his life.

I don't think Fury or Joshua have accomplished anywhere near that. In fact, I think I'm revising my list.
