He ducked Gary ST. Clair, after Pac got a lucky win over a pre-fight distracted/turmoiled Barrera in 2003.

St. Clair wanted to fight Pac then, cause he knew Pac;s win over MAB was a fluke.

 

How about the whole town of Tijuana?

Pac can contribute to the war against poverty by fighting the entire town of Tijuana.

 

There is a certain Haitian fighter conspicuously absent, never to be mentioned in this whole thread, I wonder why that is.

 

Because Bert's busy fighting JrWW's and ducking guys his size.

Not to mention, Berto isn't even CLOSE to the level of Pac to suggest he's in the running.

Really..going from barely scraping by Collazo as a top win to Pac? Not likley. Maybe if Berto actually had a few quality, or even top ten wins at 147.

 

Pac is just scared to fight Berto.
Just like Pac is scared to fight Soto, and so many other fighters.

soto would have gotten a bad beating against pac. he should be thankful he wasn't pit against pac. soto has poor movement and not exactly fast with his punches and feet, pac will find him all day.

 

you're smoking crack. Soto vs Pac at 126/130 would have been awesome. much more competitive than Diaz.

 

soto definitely is much better than diaz. has a good chin, good at putting combinations, but still slow in my eyes. he would have given a better fight than diaz but was never a real threat that people should think pac ducked him in any way.

 

it was more of politics than "because Sotto can beat him" kind of thing.

 

Cortez pretty much ****ed up Soto's career and his chance in the pac sweepstakes.
