Wait watched more, I forgot. He was fire for the first two rounds and slowed down a lot after that. Still a good fight though.

I sparred a lad years ago and he was more experienced than me n we were both going for it but cos he was a southpaw I kept "accidentally" standing on his foot... He couldn't get near me ...then he slipped a straight right and nailed me to the body...I spent the last 20 seconds dancing round doing the Stanky leg and acting like I was winding him up..

Soon as buzzer went to end the round I went down like a sack of **** lol

 

You are probably right. I haven't seen the fight since that night and my memory is so shot that I confuse fights all the time. The beauty of being old is that I have been to several hundred fight cards; on the downside, I can't remember which was which.

What's embarrassing is that I "remember" that fight so clearly. I can see the guy getting hit and going to his knees with his forehead on the canvas. Now I'm trying to figure out which fight I thought was Margarito.
