Golovkin being #1 at MW is already established by boxing critics. This thread is pointless. A better thread would be. "How many top 10 middleweights are able to make 155 and is it fair that those who can't are having the lineal and WBC title held hostage from them?"
No one at 160 right now. And Canelo is on a tough spot because he is not an elite fighter. He will get slaughtered by Triple G but at same time his body is too big for junior middleweight. So he's going to have to boil himself down constantly and fight blown up welters or B level junior middles.
