Totally agree Jeffjoiner, a fighter can have all the skill in the world but if he doesn't have the balls to go with it then he will get found out sooner or later like Jones, Vlad, and Don Curry. I got a feeling the next fighter who will get exposed for not being able to fight in adversity will be Broner.

Also in the 2nd marquez fight when overcame a bad cut to finish Marquez in the 6th [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZihnpaSJHKU&feature=relmfu"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZihnpaSJHKU&feature=relmfu[/ame]

thing about JMM and the reason he gives pac hell is that when he gets punched he punches back instead of covering up and stepping back, he doesnt give you a chance to finish your attack

Your AV is another great example.

Chavez was behind in the scorecards but never once stopped trying and kept putting on mad pressure until he stopped Taylor with about 6 seconds left in the fight.

    This.

Regarding Guru's question of when Hopkins fought through adversity- Echols II, when Antwun threw him down and dislocated his shoulder. X shook off the pain and went on the stop Echols in convincing fashion.

Add Bobby Chacon (1982-83 version at least) and Danny "Little Red" Lopez to the list, too.

Good call! Froch had to dig deep after being dropped and being outboxed by Taylor.:good

That very fight made me look at Froch as a totally different fighter!

it was just one fight but tommy"the duke" morrison against joe hipp. tommy was coming off a devastating ko loss to mercer and was rebuilding his career. he suffered a broken jaw and hand in the fight and if he lost his career wouldve been essentially set back two years in the competitive hw division. he perservered, go the win and went on to become the wbo champ.

    true grit.
