Can't think of any pound for pound off the top of my head.

At Heavyweight, though,I'd have Muhammad Ali for 1960s and 1970s.

If Pacquiao has a case, Floyd is the obvious choice for the same time periods. Mayweather, clearly was the best boxer during Pac's time, between the two of them.

    Nah.

Manny starched Floyd's biggest two victories of the time, tore everybody else up, and had been delivering the goods below 140.

Either guy has a shout, but it's not clear cut.

No, it's pretty obvious. Sorry. You have to watch the fights and notice who was winning first, most of the time. Like, if you tell me you had sex with Marilyn Monroe, it's really impressive, if it was like before she died. But after? That's just creepy and illegal and doesn't add to your resume as a cawksmith at all. That does not make you a stud. I mean, it requires zero charm.

Good picks all of them. I'm not quite as sold on Robinson's 50's like you, though, and I'd probably swap Pac for Floyd, but both actually have cases.

Whitaker isn't too far off for the 80's and 90's. I'd also add Louis.

As usual, the importance of dedication is totally overlooked.

I'm not saying it doesn't take a lot of dedication to dig them up or break into the morgue or whatever, but it's more about who is best. Like you or Joe DiMaggio, if that makes sense.

He might have the talent, yes, but I use my dedication to achieve the same objective (kinda).

I guess that's kind of your own personal thing then and I will try not to judge you even though it is against my own convictions that I was raised with. Peace, brother.

Barney Ross was many light years ahead of Louis as the best fighter of the 1930s.

Greb's amazing 1919 campaign, which can be convincingly argued as the best year ever by a fighter, qualifies him in the teens. Add to that list of victims, McGoorty, McTigue, Jack Dillon, Willie Meehan, Battling Levinsky... You have a good argument for the teens, as well as the twenties.
