I'll be shocked if a jab from Liam Williams isn't enough to dispatch this scrub he's about to climb in the ring with in a few minutes...
Sorry didn't read the title of the thread correctly. Sonny Liston however is said to have koed guys with the jab.
7 bouts (versus nobody anyone's heard of), dropped 4 times. In other words, he isn't fit to lick Coleslaw's boots.
Yeah it appears he's not very good. I just checked his record and the lowest he's weighed is 171, the highest 178.5. I also saw that he holds a points win over the now sadly deceased Scott Westgarth who tragically died earlier this year after suffering a brain injury during a fight. RIP
Just re-watched Hagler-Lee, and though the southpaw jab didn't cause the first KD, it clearly buzzed and froze Caveman, setting up the first KD. It may not completely qualify for either category, but it should make HM. Ernie Schaff, yeah. Supposedly he was damaged goods after getting flattened by Max Baer (though he won two of three bouts after that, including a stoppage over a then-ranked Poreda) and came into the Primo bout with the flu. But, Carnera did catch him with a stiff jab that sent Schaff to the mat, and Ernie unfortunately lapsed into a coma as he was on the canvas and never recovered.
Sugar Nick hit one of his opponents so hard with a jab he made him travel back in time https://gfycat.com/IllinformedIllegalFantail
Landed punch, yes. Foley threw about half a dozen feints and then one actual body jab that didn't reach. So if Comp-U-Box had existed back then, final stat line would resemble: Morrison 1 of 1, 100% Foley 0 of 7, 0%
You guys that missed the RBR earlier: have you had a chance to watch Lebedev vs. Altunkaya yet? Thoughts? (on either Lebedev's future in the sport, considering he's 39 and came in a dozen pounds over the cruiser limit and has no business whatsoever mounting some foolish campaign taking on actual heavyweights - or the ridiculousness/shamefulness of Altunkaya flopping onto the deck like a trout after being grazed with a double jab )
How the **** are we forgetting GGG dropping Adama not once but twice with jabs? Two jab KDs in one fight might be a a record.
Ohhhhh yeah! - and no, it definitely isn't a record, check the list. Buster Douglas vs. Mike Williams is the record-holder, I believe, at 3.
