NTM.....there was no CW division for pre-90s HWs to cut their teeth in.

If the CW division was there from the jump, it would have been the best division historically.
With CWs like Marciano Dempsey Johnson Ali Frazier Patterson etc going up to HW for Liston Carnera Foreman et. and getting MWs and LHWs to meet for the CW title(being the glam division).

Imagine 190lb Ali vs Qawi or Holyfield.

    Ouch what a schooling

His first decent B level type was Ashley Theophane in his 15th fight.

Before Theo, he was crushing tomatoes.
After Theo, shopworn Arnoutis, Campbell, and Holt leading up to his war with OLD, FAT, and SHOT Morales.

I was a FAN of Garcia once upon a time, but gift after gift after gift.

Two standout Ws over Khan and Mathysse are all he's done and it took Lucas arm getting tangled up in the ropes for Danny to get the W.

I absolutely know what you mean. But Qawi vs Frazier would be a fun fight.

And his pro debut was against Alexander Miroshnichenko, an undefeated at the time with a record of 21-0 15 ko's who was an olympic bronze medalist that dropped Riddick Bowe twice during the olympics.

I understand taking the Patterson fight, Rademacher was an olympic champion that could have become the heavyweight champion in one fight, he even dropped Patterson, however taking Folley on his second fight was just bad matchmaking.

Chisora: Sexton in his fifth fight: Danny Williams; Vitali, Haye, and Fury within a 5 years of turning Pro. I don't think Dereck would ever have been a great, but with more sympathetic handling, he might have been a bigger and less damaged player.

The other obvious answer is Salido.
