Any fighters you used to hate...or maybe not hate , but , not care about. Indifferent... in short , fighters you never gave a **** about but now do ? I can only think of 3 of them right now Barnett Sobral Wanderlei (Yeah i used to hate wanderlei silva...First time i discovered this guy , he was "the heartless *******" he was on my shitlist)... maybe sylvia too (but he's too ****ing boring)
Funnily enough, Barnett and Sobral aswell for me. Also Jon Fitch is growing on me but thats probably beacuse i haven't seen an awful lot of him until the run up to tonight.
I started to like Tito Ortiz after TUF 3,couldnt stand Liddell or Wanderlei for awhile thought both where grossly overatted but after they had their losing streaks then there slugfest last year im fans of both.
So far fighters have only achieved the opposite effect in my book (Sanchez, Florian, Koscheck, Serra). The closest one could say to a fighter growing on me would probably be Leben or Mac Danzig. I'm pulling for Leben in his next bout even though I don't like him only cuz I dislike the **** more. And Mac I never really disliked him, but I like him a lot now. n/h.
Kenny Florian, Koscheck, and Forrest Griffin. I guess I disliked them originally because they were TUF guys. Now, however, there is almost no doubting their skill.
Chris Leben. I thought his behavior on TUF exemplified everything that was bad about MMA - but his fighting spirit eventually won me over.
