Two be fair, wasn't it Sosa and Marriaga's corner that pulled them out as opposed to them quitting?

Also have to take into consideration that because he's made 4 opponents quit in back-to-back fights all within the space of 12 months and 2 weeks, the memory of the previous opponents pulling a no mas against him is still fresh in the minds of boxing fans, fighters and said fighters who are facing him. Rigoblin was obviously fully aware that Axe-Man, Sosa and Marriaga quit against Loma, as was Sosa of Axe-man, and Marriaga of Axe-Man and Sosa before him. Rigoblin knew that many fans and fighters alike heaped scorn and ridicule on Axe-Man for pulling a no mas against Loma. In fact, he even took a dig at him himself for doing it.

''I may be boring, but one thing I am is not a quitter.''

    --Rigoblin

But Loma still managed to make him pull a no mas despite all that

And not only that Loma called it too

Lomachenko: I Won't Be Surprised If Rigondeaux Quits!

NEW YORK – Vasyl Lomachenko wouldn’t be surprised if Guillermo Rigondeaux decides to go out the same way Nicholas Walters did.

The confident southpaw said Wednesday that he thinks he can make the undefeated Rigondeaux quit when they square off in a highly anticipated 130-pound title fight Saturday night. Walters was unbeaten when he got in the ring with Lomachenko a year ago in Las Vegas, yet decided seven largely lopsided rounds were enough and declined to continue.

The two-time Olympic gold medalist from Ukraine will try to demoralize Rigondeaux in a similar manner.

“I’m not gonna be surprised if he’s gonna quit,” Lomachenko said before an open workout Wednesday at Mendez Boxing Gym

Two pretty cool submissions I remember from modern boxing.. Pac Man making DLH quit on his stool and Cotto Quintana.. Quintana looked like he had lost his soul..

Hopkins never "quit". 50 year old man got knocked out of the ring and barely knew where he was getting back up. That was a legit stoppage.

Nicolino Locche, who is probably one of the best defenders of all time, made Paul Fuji quit because he couldn’t lay a glove on him even though Locche was such a light hitter.

I think Rigondeaux quitting against Loma is actually similar to that fight.

    Floyd Mayweather Jr:
    -Genaro Hernandez, RTD 8
    -Carlos Gerena, RTD 7
    -Jesus Chavez, RTD 9
    -Arturo Gatti, RTD 6

That makes two then-champions, three former-champions, and so far one eventually likely two Hall-of-Famers.
