Holyfield in the first Bowe fight. Perhaps more than any other fighter.

Gonna spin this one and mention Bowe in the 2nd fight: mf apparently didn't even prepare himself that match and the result almost ended in a draw with the match itself being very close despite holyfield being at his roidest lmao

I honestly thought Bowe should have won that fight, at least given the Champion's benefit of a doubt.

In more recent times, Tim Tszyu.

Tim could’ve opted out for an NC or what have you, but he hung in there to the finish despite wearing one of the most outrageous, visually impairing blood masks for the majority of the fight.

Before and after the accidental elbow to the hairline, Tim still busted up the other guy, Fundora, very badly.

Both guys showed impressive moxie. True warriors. Despite the L, absolutely no discredit to Tim in my book - rather, his performance was a credit to him under eventuating circumstances.

Shannon Briggs taking a first class licking from Vitali and hanging tough. Although far more competitive, another guy hanging tough was Chris Eubank in that Thompson bout.

Personally I thought he fought emotionally
instead of tactically . By the time he tried
to use his advantages of reach and speed
he was beaten down, and it was to
    late.....
He fought hard, but it wasn't smart...

This year definitely Madrimov, haven't seen Bud gettin' so competitive in a while.
Also in round 1 Luis Nery scoring a kd against tha Monster was one of the highlights of the first mid-2024 before the fight became one-sided.
