Terrible Terry norris another one. Ko'd by Julian Jackson then made a great comeback as a 3 time light middle champion.

Eusebio Pedroza had a few knockout losses on his record prior to winning a title. Who'd have thought he'd have gone on to make so many defences - and shown great durability - when he got knocked out in 3 of his first 17 fights?

He was rocked badly. Have a watch of it Ferg. It's a brilliant fight. Tommy at his best and worst.

But what punchers that were prime did he face?

Great matchmaking more than anything Ruiz improved upon was the main ingredient.

I'm sure Manny Pacquiao was KOed twice relatively early in his career when he was still a light flyweight/flyweight. It was probably unthinkable back then that the then puny looking Pac man would go on to have such a stellar ATG career.
