can anyone tell me of any fighters other than Pac or Khan who have improved dramatically after switching trainers? not counting someone like Cotto/Steward who have recently began working together and have had 1 fight, but fighters who really stood out once they switched trainers.

Some people think Lennox Lewis's improvement with Manny Steward is exaggerated. While it may have not been some gigantic improvement, I "definitely" think Steward helped Lewis work out some flaws with his balance. Lewis became more controlled with his right hand, didn't loop it as much, basically just seemed to be a better boxer who controlled the tempo and distance better under Manny's tutelage.

    Librado Andrade with Howard Grant
    Wladimir Klitschko with Emmanuel Steward
Joan Guzman with Floyd Mayweather Sr.
    Amir Khan with Freddie Roach

There's someone recent I remember improving a lot with Kevin Cunningham, but now I can't remember who.

Yuriorkis Gamboa with Ismael Salas. His defense has improved in a huge way ever since he took over after the Darling Jimenez fight.

I'm not so sure Hatton improved after switching. He appeared to be a better boxer but the results don't support that statement.

Lennox Lewis is a good example. Gatti and McGrit as well. One that I'd add is Wladimir with Emmanuel has also been a fairly significant improvement.

For one fight yes. In their second fight it turned into a disaster.

Matthew Macklin after he switched to Joe Gallagher, he has since moved to Freddie Roach but has yet to have a fight under him.
