Fighters that like to brawl and wrestle, rather then box. For example, Quarry or marciano would certainly qualify, and so would Hagler.
Who can you guys think of?

Roberto Duran, although he could Box he was not averse to getting underneath you and driving you back by pushing up from his legs.

Hagler liked to box more often than brawl. Or at least it seemed that way based on watching his fights.

    Diego Corrales
    Evander Holyfield
    Meldrick Taylor
    Arturo Gatti

Hagler?.Is this some bizarro universe version or something?.

Quarry's natural style was a textbook counterpunching one as well.

Hamsho, Antuofermo, Fullmer, Gianfranco Rosi are a few that come to mind.the latter two both being capable of fighting on the backfoot and bringin other dimensions into play when it suited them.

Ayub Kalule was a savage uncompromising brawler in his day as well.

Yeah, he was a 154 champ for a while.Curry fight was probably his worst performance in his prime, i'm surprised he wasn't able to beat that Curry actually.

Yeah Curry looked poor in that fight, i seem to remember him getting dropped, cant remember, but it was a foul plagued affair.

    For recent times, Ricardo Mayorga.

For older yet not too far away times, Juan LaPorte and Wilfredo Gomez. Gomez could box but much preferred to bang. I guess having power was a good reason to prefer to bang lol.

really any mexican fighter, morales, barrara, vasquez then hagler an marciano. dont agree with Bowe, he was just a real soft human being, my dad put him in the marines and he made it like a week, i meet him numerous times he was a whiner, bad.
