but maybe im just biased, on bowe not sure, but i love watching calzaghe because he never stops throwing punches, exciting!
Yeah, that reminded me of how someone said, if the guy had trouble training hard for million dollar fights, how was he going to be a Marine? But Bowe's tendency in there was to brawl, especially at close quarters given his in-fighting abilities. 6'5, 81" reach, and he preferred fighting up-close. Sort of like Corrales. Corrales was taller than pretty much all his opponents, but didn't want to be some tactical outside boxer who used his height and reach. He liked in-fighting, and was very good at it.
Quarry was a LOT more talented than people give him credit for but yes, he did lose focus and brawl when prompted by certain opponents.
yea thread stealer you are right about bowe, but hey at least i admitted i was voting for him cause i didnt like other things he did not on his boxing ability
o sayers, i mean dempsey is an all time great an one of my favorites, but how many punches did pac man throw a round against the StATUE clottey, well over a 100 and calzaghe does the same like against a washd up roy jones though so i dont think people are saying they are as good as brawlers, but they like the action guys like that bring to a fight, and its really hard to get any real offense going when a guy is throwin that many punches and is not getting tierd
:rofl:rofl I have watched Rossi, afew fights off the top of my head Pyatt was one of them. He is pretty boring IMO. Obviously pretty good but very boring.
tis is a bizzaro universe if people dont think hagler was a tough son of a ***** an probaly worked harder an was more focused then most if not all fighter of his time, and in my opinion the best 3 rounds i evry saw against hearns, he is so underated probaly why he went crazy an started makin action movies in japan or sumthn haha
