Fighters that made you go "wow"

In my case was Trinidad vs Whitaker... God, did he got a pair of heavy hands!!

 

Razor Ruddock, the first fight I saw with him was his near decapitation of Dokes. I remember saying WOW this guy can punch...I was a huge fan of him throughout his career, no matter ups and downs..The SMASH.Probably the hardest single shot in heavyweight since Shavers.

 

It broke my heart to see him appear on the Tyson v Holyfield undercard , he was making i think a 16th defence of his world title, and a girl on the card was getting paid more than he was.. (Christy Martin) that was so ****ed up......

 

You know what Shavers.... You took the words right out of my mouth..

That was the first time they put him on a live show on Network TV.. Boxing returns to MSG.. (Dokes v Ruddock) (Smith v Weaver)

I remember Gil Clancy almost exploding with excitement when he knocked Dokes out........

He said " Oh My God , Thats the best young heavyweight prospect i've seen in years , strong hard puncher.."

I will never forget that, first impressions count..

 

OMG , Robeto was fabulous, i cried when i heard about him getting killed by a train on a level crossing in Havana.. Roberto wowed his Olympic year.. 1992 i think.. Barcelona..

The 12th round was unreal. Both Vazquez and Marquez made my jaw drop.

Also this month, Nate Campbell against Juan Diaz. I couldn't believe he pulled out a performance like that at his age.

Yes , i remember reading they met a few times , mostly during Cuban Olympic trials.. Balado and Felix were way out ahead in the late 80's early ninetys..
