Fighter's that move up in weight....

    do not get any respect unless they stay at that weight. I don't understand why fighters even do it. It's like when RJJ moved up to fight 1 fight at heavy, then came back down to fight tarver. It's like saying "hey, i can cherry pick a bigger guy and beat him, but **** competing in that division" James Toney on the other hand is actually staying in the division, and beating a lot of the top guys there - toney gets respect in his jump up.

    Does anyone give Mayweather credit as a 154 pound fighter?

    Did anyone give respect Oscar as a middleweight?


    Basically what I'm getting at is that many casual fans will think since Pacquaio beat DLH, he would have a good chance against the other top welters. Manny needs to do us a favour and stick to one weight, which should be lightweight.
