These are some fighters that need to prove their Chin to the Boxing Public:

Andre Ward - he needs to fight Kovalev and prove his Chin. They are on the same pay tv network so this fight would be very easy to make. I don't think Ward's clinching, holding, headbutting, bending below the waist style would work on a legit savage puncher like Kovalev.

Anthony Joshua - this guy has been fighting a bunch of unemployed streetcar conductors and shopkeepers. Not one opponent he has fought yet had any power or willingness to fight back. Enough with the human heavy bag opponents already. We all know you can stop that type of fighter so fight someone that has a punch and can fight back.

Tyson Fury - he is about to have his Chin severely tested this Fall. His 3 best opponents Cunningham, Chisora, and Hammer had KO rates of 46% (0 at Heavyweight) 64% and 58% respectively. None of them beat any rated opposition and none are power punchers. The time has come for Fury to prove his Chin once and for all against the savage punching Wlad Klitschko.

    Thoughts? :think

Stevenson and Kovalev have questionable Chins. Thurman I have reservations about also

GGG has shown a 'good' but certainly not Iron Chin yet

Wilder has a Glass Jaw that really isn't up for debate

Mayweather has a verified Iron Chin.

Ward, Thurman and Fury are most likely packing glass

I'm still not sure where Canelo's chin stands. Definetly not glass, maybe somewhere between ¨good¨ and ¨iron¨

I was hoping Kirkland would test it, but he barely did it, ginger trashed him too soon and too easily

GGG has an iron chin, never down, never wobbled, never rocked or hurt as amateur or pro, and he's not the defensive master someone like Rigo is, he gets hit at times, sometimes because he just doesnt care since his chin is that good

Mayweather took one shot from Sugar Shot Oldsley and clung onto his arm like it was his daddy going to prison all over again. Margarito had a proven Iron Chin and ate over 100 of those shots from a better roided version of Shane.

Oliver McCall doesn't need no shoulder roll bull****.

Iron Chinned fighters don't get KOed like Margarito did. That is why they are Iron Chinned Warriors. Margarito had a very good Chin but it wasn't Iron and he can't be mentioned with fighters like Chuvalo, LaMotta, Hagler, Vitali Klitschko, McCall. These fighters were never KOed. That is why they had Iron Chins.

Margarito got knocked out. Mayweather didn't.

Furthermore, you failed to mention this: Mayweather fought Mosley immediately after Shane nearly knocked Margarito's head off his shoulders.

Mayweather fought and took punches from punchers like Mosley, Cotto, Alvarez, Pacquiao... without ever touching the canvas. And he won all of those fights. His Chin is proven.

Mayweather fought a non-EPO version of Mosely. He gassed after the 2nd round. The two punches that landed on Mayweather damn nearly killed him. Margarito was deflecting over a hundred of them off his chin.

Ward has fought Revelo, Green, Abraham, and Froch. Those are all good punchers and Ward took their shots well. His chin is not a question mark.

Did you miss Maidana countering his pull counter in round 3 and Pacquiao's superb shot in round 4? Those two were dynamite punches and he took them admirably. How many other fighters would've stayed composed after two flush from Mosley also? Some would, many wouldn't...

Khan has a terrible Glass Jaw and took those shots for half the fight. Mayweather gets hit by one and has to hold onto the ropes to keep his legs. :hey

    I'd add Thurman and Wilder.
