They are BORING, and the first ones that come to my mind are Prince Naseem Hamed and Joe Calzaghe, but I believe he's moving up to Lite Heavyweight to take on Hopkins.

    Who else?

I have no problem with a guy dominating at one weight. This thread is stupid.

Fighters who never move up NEVER challenge themselves and aren't ATG's due to only one division championship and ONLY beat smaller fighters....*YAWN*

I agree with the thread to some extent, although only if they are fighting in a weak division. Guys like Ottke, Calzaghe, Hopkins all had reigns where there was poor competition within their division at various times. Either that or they simply wouldn't unify. There were plenty of fights to be made by moving up in weight, it makes you wonder why they didn't do it at any stage??

Then why fighters move up. Isn't it to take on the best opposition available (most of the times)?

Nothing boring about Calzaghe, or Kessler, or Andrade, or Lacy...yo name some. It's their own choice to move up...it'sprobably more riskier:smoke

There are also fighters like Oscar, Mosley and Floyd who moved up without clearing out their divisions properly, which IMO can be just as bad.
