What about guys like Floyd moving up and facing guys like Brusseles, Gatti, Mitchell, Judah and Baldomir... Certainly not the best from 140-147. Do you see how that is also not such a great move, even though he has moved up? Or how about mosley skipping 140 and a potential mega fight with Kostya Tszyu? Or Pavlik talking about moving up without facing Abraham? Or Jones moving up without facing Darius M?

No, no, all my credit to Pacquiao for stopping Barrera while fighting for the first time at 126 (here is the difference, I recongnize it), and those Barrera's punches didn't stop Hamed cos Barrera didn't have enough pop. It's that simple.

Thanks for assuming that people who have different opinions than you have somehow been conned. Because of course you have the only true and valid opinion.

If it was that simple, you could prove it. As it is, you can't.

You recognize what? That didn't make sense. You pointed out no difference in anything, then said you recognized it?

True, but Maywweather took on De La Hoya, or what about Mayweather moving up to avoid Margarito? Asking.

I recognize that Pacquiao stopped Barrera while fighting for the first time at Featherweight. That's what I recognize.

So. You said "and here's the difference". Difference in what? What Pacquiao did and what Barrera did? Wouldn't Barrera getting KO'd by a first timer at 126 mean he was MORE exposed by your logic than Hamed who was only decisions by a first time 126 fighter? But that wasn't even the context you used. So what is the "difference" you were referring to?

Just admit you hate Hamed and will twist anything to make your point and make him look bad. I don't even like Hamed....just don't like posters who exaggerate.

When past his prime toward the end of his career. That wopuld be Rosendo Alvarez you're speaking of, one of the best 108 pounders of all time, who was in his prime at the time they fought.

I'd bet the house on a prime Lopez over him clearly at 108. In fact, the only guy from 105-108 in history I'd make even money with Lopez would be Jung-Koo Chang. IMO the best ever at 108, and a very interesting styles matchup for Lopez.

The difference is that I admitt and recognize what Pacquiao did (stopping Barrera while fighting for the first time at Featherweight), and well, after losing to Pacquiao, Barrera kept fighting . For instance, fought for the first time at Super Feather against Erik Morales, and won, beat Rocky Juarez twice, and lost to JMM and to Pacquiao, but like I said, at least he kept fighting after being stopped by Pacquiao.
    See things now?

No, because it's not relevant to what we were talking about OR the original post. I don't care if you recognize what Pacquiao did. It was only relevant in proving your inconsistant points and criteria.

You were wrong. Deal with it. Hamed did move up and win. Admit you were wrong and move on.

Why didn't Barrera move up to LW? Why didn't Castillo move up to WW?

Why didn't Lopez move up to Flyweight?

Is there some kinda threshold you have to hit for it to count?

You were wrong in your original assertion in this thread. Anyways, bored now.

Why didn't Sugar Ray Robinson move up to Heavyweight? Why didn't Henry Armstrong move up to Light Heavyweight? Why didn't Pernell Whitaker move up to Middleweight?

You can't keep moving up forever. Admit you were wrong and that you're a moron who doesn't have a clue what he's talking about and we'll forgive you, but only if you admit both.:deal
