    Look at Manny Pacquaio.
Look at Erik Morales, who almost won a title at fourth different division.
Look at Barrera, who won titles at three different divisions.

If anything people put to much of an emphasis on moving up in weight.

    WTF is this?

Naz started at bantam and moved through superbantam and featherweight.

Calzaghe's fight at Light Heavy takes place next month.

Regardless of your two bad examples... moving in weight does not make people boring! Marvin Hagler stayed at middleweight and took on everyone (and was an exciting fighter too). What about heavyweights? Should they move down a weight just to satisfy a weight move box? How do you think Lennox Lewis would get down to Cruiser? Or Valuev?

Weight issues have to do with a boxers natural frame. For example - Amir Khan looks like he will soon outgrow the lightweight division. Ricky Hatton will never be any more than a natural Light Welter. What does that mean? Absolutely nothing!

Not a well thought through thread...

Which would be nice, if it wasn't for the fact that he dismisses what you're saying and moves on to points that aren't relevant to the discussion. Perhaps if he tried to listen a bit more when corrected, he wouldn't get treated in such a manner.

I didn't start correcting him in a condescending manner until he said I was "conned" by not agreeing with his assessment of Hamed.

It's not significant to see Manny Pacquiao taking on David Diaz at Lightweight?
