While I don't think guys like Briggs or JLOT or Tarver etc should be vying for titles, I don't mind them makign novelty fights to earn living.

Guys like Williams and Sprott are just stepping stones for prospects and comebacking fighters.

They take their KO L's and sign in a week to fight another.

One day their 40+ wins will be overshadowed by their 20+ losses. :patsch

To be fair I think Sprott has more left in the tank than Williams does these days.

Juan Manuel Marquez - He doesn't seem to want to take on dangerous fights anymore and looking for safe winnable fights .

    Ducked Provodnikov .
Has absolutely no interest in a fifth fight with Manny .

Hes not looking to face off against any bangers .

BHop. The novelty is wearing off now. He cemented his place as an all time great nearly 20 years ago and has NOTHING left to prove.

david price - has a flyweight punch resistance on a huge frame, wants to rebuild his career but will have to get past joshua and fury to be the best in britian let alone best in the world. i dont think they will put him in with a puncher ever again. hang on it doesnt need to be a puncher, he gets put down by european journeymen. lol

Some guys just have fewer wars in them. Berto and Trout are both on the slide, but still could retire without too much damage. Mares is slippin, didn't look right against deleon, we'll soon see what is left. Alvarado is cooked. Judah's not gonna mentally get over the paulie loss.

Linares was not built to take punishment. Arreola is close, not training catching up to him & more KOby to come. Of course Jones jr should quit embarrassing himself. Campillo is old. Abraham not gonna be competitive at top level anymore. Taylor could get hurt permanently. I wonder if groves will really challenge anybody at world level now after that right hand too.

Watching these guys fight too long is the worst part of boxing.
