As great as Ricardo Lopez was, I think his legacy would have been greater if he had moved up and fought guys like Carbajal, Gonzalez, and Marc Johnson.
Possibly Milton McCrory, and even Thomas Hearns, though that may have cost him the superfight with Sugar Ray Leonard.
Right. Bazooka should have stayed at 122 indefinitely...I think he would have been able to retire undefeated.
Gerald McClellan was a natural CW and almost always drained down to MW, which really didn't help his body. Him taking shots from Julian Jackson only made it worse for him and we all know what happened once he finally went up to SMW. Even if he did KO Nigel Benn he would have suffered the same fate eventually. Had Gerald moved up earlier I think he could have avoided a career ending injury.
