Froch: shocked the **** out of me when he pulled off that stunning desperation KO over Taylor.

Pascal: I did not think Pascal would ever hold any kind of a major title.

Pavlik: The kid who struggled with Ross Thomspon became the univerally recognized middleweight champion of the world, and my current favorite. Back in '06 I expected McKart to take his zero and his NABF title!

Adamek: I'm surprised he is doing so well as a cruiserweight.

Kelly Pavlik - I thought he was on the same level as the guys who wind-up on the contender, but after the Taylor fights he definetely showed he was on the elite level, hes a good fighter but still has much to prove inorder to be a great fighter.

Nonito Donaire - I thought he was going to be easy pickings for Vic, but after the Vic fight with his semi-good performances against Maldonado and Mthalane I began to think the Vic win was a stylisitic fluke, but after his last fight with Martinez Im beginning to believe hes something special.

Librado Andrade- I ultimately lost interest (and perhaps faith and sanity in boxing) from about 2003 to 2006-ish so while guys like Andrade, Pavlik and what not were cutting their teeth in boxing, I missed out. My first exposure to Librado Andrade was against Kessler where he was essentially a heavy bag with eyes. I figured he'd disappear to obscurity after that loss. Fast forward a few years and he's one of my favorite fighters.
