The "Hasim Rahman Comeback Plan" is when after you lose a major fight, you spend a whole year away from the spotlight getting in shape, fighting clubfighters until the next opportunity for a title shot comes around. Sam Peter just recently finished this comeback plan. Shannon Briggs may be getting a title shot. Usually this is a heavyweight thing. Guys in the lower weight classes might just take one tuneup fight and just jump right back into the action. Guys who would have benefitted: Felix Trinidad Fighters in this era don't really take any tuneups/stay busy fights anymore. They need to have a big fight to be motivated. This is a man that would have benefited greatly from this plan, but always wanted to jump right into the action. It showed me he was just looking for a payday & didn't take his career seriously at all towards the end of his career. add on

Roy Jones Jr. following the first Tarver loss
James Toney, his entire career from being somewhat pudgy against Jirov to being a fat ball of goo fighting as a heavyweight.

    Pavlik.

It would have been better than his drunken summer part II.

I'm glad Judah appears to be on it. He may have another tuneup in October. Shows me he's taking his career seriously.

Arrela is on it now. Only problem is he's gaining weight rather than getting in shape:lol:
