OK, that's fine. As long as you've given up on this notion that Tyson and Ali would be languishing at CW, i'm happy.

If you had asked whether he could beat Marciano before the McCall fight, people might actually have laughed at you!

To be fair, they would both have had options!

For every Lennox Lewis you get 40 years of Leroy Jones..

Be careful what you wish for during your nap. You will be waking up to such a lot of Leroy Jones’s

I feel that there is a tendency for people to dump the problems of their favorite heavyweight on others!

The Tyson fan wants to think that James Douglas was a one night ATG, who would beat the other ATGs!

The Lewis fan, wants to think that Hasim Rahman would have knocked out every other great, with that unexceptional punch.

I blight of being a Marciano fan, there isn't that much to throw at them!

    The truth about Rocky haters/critics:

Their minds shut off when he’s doing something well, keeping his hands up, and using good technique.

Their mind lights up when there is a split second when his hands are low.

Why? Deeply rooted (yet inaccurate) narratives.

So until we see another Ali, he must’ve not been the real deal?

We get a helluva a lot closer to the mold of Ali than we do that of Marciano. A helluva lot closer.

George is certainly a good candidate

What did you make of the right hand that Lyle decked George with? He never saw it coming because he was too busy unloading. George Broke his own fall with his head.

Now I’m not saying Rocky absolutely can land the same shot on George but I am saying Lyle did show us what kind of thing can happen if you land a Punch almost as good as one Rocky often landed.

Lyle was no better than Quarry and Quarry no better than Marciano.

    Food for thought?

So, two undersized geriatrics who put Marciano on his @ss don't offer a blueprint?

Yes. Mediocre modern NFL teams would absolutely dominate the greatest NFL teams of the 40s and 50s.

And Danny Jacobs, Kell Brook, Curtis Stevens, and a few other men who actually fought Golovkin for real insist that his power is overhyped and overrated (by people like you and those sparring partners).

Sonny Banks offered the blueprint to beating Ali.

Frazier and Norton took the cues.
