Fighters that you originally disliked but then became a fan of

Malignaggi, I wanted Cotto to kill him, but if they fought again I'd be rooting for Paulie.

 

Cotto-didnt dislike but at one point wasnt sold on him.
Darchinyan-***** but backs it up.

Carl Froch and Jermain Taylor for me. It was actually a little bittersweet watching the fight because of that.

Miguel Cotto, didn't like him coming up and wanted him to lose, but he won me over.

Margarito.. hated him up until after destorying Cintron twice.

Amir Khan, liked him more after he was KTFO.. now I like the guy.

Hated Pac, mainly because of Marquez, Barrera, and Morales.. but the guy is legit.

My story with Pac is similar. I was a more casual fan at the time, not always paying that much attention to the sport, so the first time I heard of him was when he first fought Barrera. I'd been a fan of Barrera's ever since the war between him and Kennedy McKinney on the first Boxing After Dark episode, so I was stunned and pissed at how Pac worked Barrera over.

My first reaction was to be pissed, figure that Barrera had an off day, he'd come back again like he had before in his career and adjust his style and kick some ass. The next day I cooled down, rewatched the fight, and found myself saying "****, this guy is good... maybe Marco's never going to beat him!"

So from then on I was interested in Manny and followed him, and I became more of a fan with every fight.
