So i sat there and started thinking who is fighting now that could be an ATG. like in the top 50. even though theres lots of haters for Pacquiao and Mayweather, when they leave its gonna be a sad day for boxing.

    my list

1 - Danny Garcia - He has all around good boxing skills. hes not bad at one thing and just good at everything else. I feel hes gonna be a huge draw sooner then later, fan friendly, i think its gonna have to be a damn good fighter to beat him. he might top out at 147 or 154, lots of opportunities to be great.

2 - Canelo - I've always thought this since the first time i seen him fight. Lots of haters with him also but the boy got skills. great combintations, good fottowork, good power, great body punching (that goes a long way and is underrated) good jab, all the tools. I did worry about hs stamina in the Trout fight but his stamina looked good in the Mayweather fight so lets see if he keeps that up. he'll enventually go to MW which will make good fights and probably end his career at 168 so hes gonna have the chance to be an ATG

3 GGG - yea i said it!!! I dont think hes under 30 but that boy got skills. Not even talking power, hes very accurate, good defense, just a beast in the ring! hes older because he started late but he does stay active which is a plus to him. I dont see any fighter really beating him at 160 then nothing but great fights at 168. does he have enough time to be an ATG? possibly not but they way he stays active and destroys people the next 2-3 years a huge for him. fight 8 times in 2 years and doesnt lose, he'll be the king of boxing at least

4 - Andre Ward - he just gets it done. nobody will beat him at 168 right now. when he does moves to 175 thats whats gonna rise his stock hugely to be an ATG. i really think he can get there, no doubt.

    Honarble mentions

Broner- i think hes got skills, just alot of haters on here. if he wins a rematch with Maidana, that will go a long way. hes only 24

Rigo - the boy is just old, fighters duking him, and hes with TR that basically gave up on him already. might end his career with 20 wins not enough to be an ATG

Thurman - i really like him. solid boxer with crazy power. lets see how 2014 treat him.

All LHW today - gotta just see more from them.

Wilder- cant gauge at all, just gotta see what happens this year.

Mikey garcia- just dont know, got some skills though

    whats your list??? :bbb:bbb

    Rigo is not under 30

Already on the path to ATG Heaven
#1 Roman Gonzalez at 26, Dominant in 3 divisions...plans more
#2 Kazuto Ioka at 24, Dominant in 2 divisions...plans big
#3 Andre Ward at 29, Dominant at 168...Can become first Undisputed 168 Champ

Potential, but still have big challenges
#1 Deontay Wilder, if he becomes the first Undisputed Champion since Lewis
#2 Keith Thurman, if he dominates Welterweight and never moves up

Super Featherweight (10-0) fought and lost to Lomachenko in London 2012 being groomed as the one to take over from Miguel Cotto as the next Rican superstar. And of course already has a future big fight in the future with a certain stand out Olympian.

I know Rigo is not under 30 thats why i said he wont reach ATG status

Gonzalez is solid, still lots to do.

I also agree with Thurman, dude can do it. dont agree he has to stay at WW his whole career though

None of the Klitschkos were undisputed, they shared the belts. If Wlad wins the WBC he will become the first Undisputed Champion since Lennox Lewis

Undisputed Champions rare and far between, Vitali and Wlad co-existed on the top...opposing the core value of being Undisputed...that and the obvious absence of WBC+WBA+IBF formula + WBO since Hopkins made it a bit harder to be Undisputed...which is good, as Undisputed should be hard to achieve...very hard...:smoke

Great list . . . I would probably change the order up a bit. On the fence about Canelo but IF he beats AA easily and then beats Lara (which is a very tall order) I agree.

I agree about Broner, too many people wrote him off after his loss but the kid just jumped a weightclass and took on one of the hardest punchers p4p in the game. he needs time to get the strength of a WW.

I may not say that these guys will be ATG but I think they will be in consideration for P4P status and/or the top players in there divisions.

    Thanks :good

I also feel the same about Canelo. he needs to get past Anuglo then that Lara fight is huge! it needs to happen by the end of this year, since Canelo has got 2 more after this March fight.

Broner can do it, hes so young. the whooping he took can maybe make him great or at least more serious about his oppnets. he should;ve outboxed Maidana but he took him lighlty, cant do this in this sport. future still bright

    I don't know, man.

Some of the honorable mentions seem more probably than your 1-4, and some of them are such extreme long shots they shouldn't even bear mentioning.

Broner, Thurman, and Wilder - guys whose ceiling is "titlist" - really don't belong in the discussion with the likes of Rigondeaux and Garcia, IMO.

Puerto Rican lightweight, very talented, but some people are starting to get unrealistically and prematurely carried away with the hype for him and seem too quick to forgive some alarming flaws even before having stepped up in class.

4th loss if you count gift decisions and a loss that ruined him like Salido ruined Lopez.

People only thought Broner was good because that's what Golden Boy and TV networks told you to think. Their plan was 'find the biggest **** in boxing and we can market him as the next Mayweather'. Only problem was, he wasn't all that good.

If you think there is even a remote chance he can get into the top 50 all time great's I suggest you watch more boxing. It's highly unlikely he enters the top 50 current pound for pound fighters (and despite what some people may tell you, he's not currently and never has been, being his best win is over Tony freaking DeMarco).
